Description
INGREDIENTS:organic dried elderberries, organic dried rosehips, organic dried hibiscus, organic cinnamon stick, organic clove olives
DO NOT CONSUME UNCOOKED HERBS.
-Elderberries- used for thousands of years for a myriad of health issues. Hippocrates, father of medicine, called it his “treasure chest”.
-Rosehips and hibiscus- Great sources of vitamin C.
-Cinnamon and clove- Combination of herbs contain many effective properties.
Usage: For adults, 1 tbsp daily or 2-3 tbsp every few hours if needed
Preparation directions:
-Add 4-½ cups of water to the saucepan. Place a lid on it and bring water to a boil.
-Meanwhile, empty the entire contents of the herbal mixture into the provided brew bag.
-Tie the brew bag securely so the contents do not spill out.
-Once the water has reached a boil, turn heat to low.
-Carefully drop the brew bag into the hot water.
-Place lid back on the saucepan.
-Simmer on low for 30 minutes.
-Pour ½ cup of raw honey into quart jar. (Do not give honey to children under one year. Maple Syrup is a good sweetener for children under 1 year old.)
-Carefully remove the brewing bag from the saucepan. Use a spoon or spatula to press the brew bag and extract any remaining liquid.
-Add cooled elderberry liquid to honey in the jar. Stir well.
-Store in refrigerator.
